Janelle Manahan seeks CIDG help vs sex video leakers update

Latest Janelle Manahan seeks CIDG help vs sex video leakers update, The camp of Janelle Manahan, the girlfriend of slain actor Ramgen Revilla, has sought the help of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in investigating the leaked sex video of her and Revilla that spread on social networking sites.

Manahan and her legal counsel Argee Guevarra trooped to the CIDG's Anti-Transnational and Cyber Crime Division in Camp Crame Tuesday to call on authorities to investigate Ramgen's siblings, particularly Gail Bautista, Ramona Bautista, Ramlynn Bautista, and Reuben Jesse Bautista, as well as Ramgen's mother, Genelyn Magsaysay.

Manahan's camp said Ramgen's mother and siblings were liable for violation of Republic Act 9995 or the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009.

They cited strong evidence that the video was leaked by Ramgen's relatives. Guevarra said that when the video was uploaded on the Internet sometime on December 30, 2011, Manahan was purportedly warned through a Facebook message by Reuben Bautista about the circulation of the sex video.

Manahan's camp also insisted that Ramgen's personal belongings were taken by his siblings after the murder and since then they were seen using his belongings including his clothes.

"They have also admitted to accessing Ramgen's digital files such as videos and photos when they were looking for suitable materials that may be used in a video/photo collage of their late brother which was intended to be shown during the funeral," Guevarra added.
